REPEAT OFFENDERS

In 2013-14, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander offenders were proceeded against by police between an average of 2.0 times in South Australia and the Northern Territory and 2.3 times in New South Wales and Queensland. The average for non-Indigenous offenders varied between 1.4 times in South Australia and the Northern Territory and 1.6 times in New South Wales and Queensland. (Table 19)
